DET also known as the Diploma in Education and Training previously known as the DTTLS (Diploma to teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) It is a Level five professional course approved and developed from the SET (Society for Education and Training). The minimum requirements for entry into the DET course are:

A minimum of 100 hours teaching experience
